Hot on the heels of his first foray with the label, Ultimae has put out a 3-track EP from Lars Leonhard. Lars creates deep ambient dub which although gives a nod to a certain German-dub character, is wholly unique. Ambiences, melodies, and reverbed stabs are all masterfully poised at each other to create spacious songs that move and glide. The Germanesque dub sound makes an interesting twist to the Ultimae panoramic, cinematic sound.
