Interchill Records is back in the mix with another supreme compilation. Waypoint has a moderately discernable jazz undercurrent running through it, but you may not notice it until Walk Tall (Throwback Dub) by Another Fine Day smacks you in the face. More wonderful jazz-inflected entries from newcomers Variant Field and Austero as well as Interchill notables Hibernation (remixing both Grouch and Kaya Project) Frederik Ohr and Drift. Also not to be missed is Liquid Stranger’s Flipside (vaguely reminiscent of Tipper).
